Q: How much deposit is required?

A: A deposit of 50% is required at the time of booking reservation. The deposit will be

applied toward the total rent, taxes and fees due. Any remaining balance is due upon check



Q: What is the cancellation policy?

A: If you cancel your reservation 45 days or more before your check-in date, we will

refund your deposit minus a $50.00 cancellation fee. If you cancel in less than 45 days,

your deposit will be refunded (minus the $50.00 cancellation fee) only if and when, the

unit is re-rented. No refunds for early departures or late arrivals.


Q: What are check in/out times?

A: Check in begins at 3:30 pm EST and check out is 10 am. If you believe you will be

arriving after office hours, please call to make arrangements. If you need a late check out,

please contact the office so that we can determine if it is at all possible and how much

additional time can be afforded to you. Unless pre-approved, late check outs are subject

to a $50/hour penalty. We provided a Guest Box by the office door for those guests who

need to leave earlier than 10am for dropping off of the keys. This helps us greatly to know

that we can send housekeeping in immediately rather than waiting until 10 am and having to

go to the unit to see if guests have left.


Q: Can I check in early?

A: Due to our high housekeeping standards, cottages will not be available for check in until

we have inspected the property. We typically do not allow early check in’s before 2 pm,

unless special arrangements have been made PRIOR to the arrival.


Q: Do I have to bring my own linens/towels/supplies?

A: No! You can rent the bed linens and bath towels for the duration of your stay and all

the occupants will be provided with their own set(s) of towels. Beds are equipped with

mattress covers and pillows. Due to Covid-19 protocols, blankets have been removed. You are of course welcome to bring your own if you prefer. WaterCrest has provided you with the initial paper products, dish washing liquid, trash bags and

laundry detergent. It is your responsibility to launder any rented linens as needed. We

do not provide daily housekeeping service or towel exchange.


Q: I have a very small dog that is house broken. Is it OK to bring our pet?

A: Yes! We understand your 4-legged friends are part of your family and we have several

cottages and suites that are designated Pet Friendly units…dogs only, sorry, no cats. Motel

units are NOT pet friendly. There is a $15/day pet fee and $25 cleaning fee added to

your reservation total. This will cover up to 2 small dogs that are not on our Insurance

Carrier provided list of restricted breeds. Please check with the office prior to

reservations with pets.


Q: How many people can be in a cottage?

A: Standard Occupancy is between 2-6 people, depending on the size of the

suite/motel/cottage. Even though some cottages can accommodate up to 10 people, any

reservation exceeding the Standard Occupancy will be charged $20/day/additional person.

Exceeding the Standard Occupancy will subject the entire group to immediate eviction and

forfeiture of all payments. Unit owners reserve the right to deny rental of the unit

exceeding Standard Occupancy.


Q: How many cars can we have?

A: There is a two car maximum per cottage. Motels & Suites have 1 parking spot.

You will be issued parking permits upon check in.

No trailers, campers, or boats are allowed to be parked on the grounds. Please don’t

hesitate to call if you feel you have extenuating circumstances regarding parking and we

will do our best to help you figure out an option. Additional parking can be had at the

Transportation Center (Amtrak Station) on Rte 109 for visiting guests. WaterCrest is not

responsible for any vehicles parked off campus.


Q: Can I smoke at WaterCrest?

A: Smoking is not permitted in any of the accommodations, nor on any exterior

decking/landing. You must be at least 20 feet away from ANY units so as to avoid smoke

entering another unit through open windows or doors. This includes vapor and E-cigarettes.

Please be courteous to not litter the grounds with extinguished smoking items. A $200 fee

will be charged to your account if it is determined that smoking took place during your
